Monsoon uses illustration and printmaking as a lens to explore and communicate complex concepts. Their recent work with IIHUK focused on visualising the 'invisible' aspects of chronic illness, using drawing as a shared language to enhance communication between the charity and scientific collaborators

CYANOTYPE

Monsoon created various prints throughout the covid-19 pandemic to raise money for IIHUK charity and adopted this print making process to show the beauty of nature as well as technology that uses lightwaves.

EDGAR ALLAN POE

Illustrations done by Monsoon in 2010 to illustrate some of her favourite Edgar Allan Poe short stories, including The Black Cat & The Tell-Tale Heart.

Digital Sketchbook

Originally hand-drawn during her 2009 degree, Monsoon has since digitally remastered her early work. Today, she continues to expand her portfolio by focusing on digital innovation and contemporary illustration.
